Make the basics reliable
Check your actual practice name, address, phone number, opening hours and website link across the website and business profiles you control. Update holiday hours and appointment instructions when they change.
Select business categories that describe the practice's real work. Do not add keywords to the business name unless they are part of the real-world name. Visibility varies with relevance, distance and other factors; accurate information is necessary but not a ranking guarantee.
- Verify the profile and ownership through the platform's official process.
- Use photos you own or have permission to publish.
- Describe access, parking and contact options only when verified.
Write for actual patient questions
A helpful service page explains what the practice offers, who can answer questions and how to request a consultation. It should not diagnose the reader or promise a treatment outcome. Have clinicians review clinical content.
Create location pages for real practice locations, not dozens of interchangeable city pages. Mention nearby areas only when genuinely useful, without implying an office that does not exist.
- Use a descriptive page title and one clear main heading.
- Link related service information and the real contact page.
- Remove outdated practitioner, address and policy details.
Keep reviews genuine and privacy-safe
Ask for honest feedback using a consistent, platform-compliant process. Do not buy reviews, invent patient quotes or selectively direct only satisfied patients to a review site.
A public reply should not confirm that the reviewer is a patient or discuss their care. Work with the practice on a privacy-safe response policy and move sensitive matters to an appropriate private channel.
- Follow the review platform's current policies.
- Use permissioned testimonials only, with appropriate review.
- Track profile actions separately from confirmed appointments.
